The Västerby rural village in Rengsjö

In Västerby, you can dress up like a farm girl or farmhand would in “the olden days”. Here you can play like they did long ago, pet farm animals, and eat old-fashioned snacks out in the pasture.

Some of the activities included

Water play, play barn, play market stall, hobby-horse track, hay jump, story time in the main house, snacks, milk Västerbys Pärla the cow, stilts, pasture tennis, riding, moose watch, guess the poop, sack race, hoop rolling, spinning wool, or making flax dolls.

Stenegård for kids

Stenegård for kids is a lively place to be, whether you’re a child or a grown-up. Stenegård is the perfect tourist destination for families with children. There is space for mischief, play, and learning here. At Stenegård for kids, there are six cottages inspired by the Hälsingland farmhouses where something new happens every day. Perhaps you’d like to paint, or embroider, or hammer, or saw? In some of the cottages, we have activities where you can let your creativity loose among paints, wood, paper, wool, nails, and thread. In the garden lab – our own experimental workshop – you can try out life as a gardener and see how seeds grow to become beautiful flowers.

Träslottet in Arbrå

At the Träslottet, there is something for every child. Play with water, play Parcheesi, or cut loose in the “rumpus room” – and much, much more. During the summers, we also arrange a woodworking and inventors’ workshop where children have an outlet for their creativity and imagination.
